EDDY CAINES SUMMER FOOTBALL CAMP KICKS OFF IN NEVIS

The 2026 edition of the Eddy Caines summer Football camp, got underway at the ET Willet Park on Monday 13 th July.

This makes the 21 st hosting of this very significant Football training Caines himself chaired the proceedings and he used

the opportunity to thank the many sponsors who have stuck with him throughout the years.

Some of the sponsors also addressed the gathering. These included Ms. Keesha Jones, Manager at the Charlestown branch of the St. Kitts -Nevis -Anguilla National Bank, who congratulated Mr. Caines on his years of volunteerism and service.

She also distributed water bottles to all of the participants, complements of her institution. Ms. Nakita Thibou-Newton-Corporate Communications Officer at NEVLEC also congratulated Caines on a great program and Ms. Jaedee Caines expressed similar sentiments, while representing the Nevis Credit Union. Director of Sports, Mr. Aljay Newton, noted with

pride, that he is a product of the Football camp and challenged the participants to use the three weeks of learning the fundamental skills of Football, as a basis for their wholistic development. He then officially declared the camp open. The children then went to the field to commence their first session.
