ZAKEEM BAILEY THANKS FAMILY AND COACHES FOR SUCCESS

Zakeem Bailey in an exclusive interview on Monday 29 th June, spoke to the secret behind his success in the Runako Morton/TDC Primary Schools cricket tournament thus far. He credited his parents, grandparents and coaches for the encouragement and work done in terms of his training and preparing for the tournament.

Prior to his game on Monday, he had scored more than 50 runs in each innings that he batted: 118*, 98*, 73 and 64*. Young Bailey was adamant that he was not done yet, pointing out that in the innings that he got out, he never intended to hit that particular ball in the air, when he got caught and believes that he is due another century soon. Up to this point, he has helped to maintain an unbeaten run for his team, the Charlestown Primary School.
