SRINIVASAN PERFORMS CREDITABLY

The ILCA North American 2026 at San Pedro, Los Angeles, hosted by the Caribello Beach Yacht Club, the venue for the 2028 Olympics finished with impressive performances by sailors who competed in diverse wind conditions. Fourteen-year-old Abhijith Srinivasan made history as the first sailor to represent St. Kitts and Nevis at the ILCA North American Championships. Competing in the 59-boat ILCA 4 fleet Abhijith Srinivasan navigated tough winds and currents to finish 43rd overall, with one race in top 30 spot. As my first international regatta, it was a really fun experience, Abhijith said. ;I am proud of my performance and gained insightful knowledge that will help me grow." Abhijith extends his gratitude to

the St. Kitts and Nevis Sailing Association (SKNSA), his coaches, and the Nevis Aquatic and Sailing Center (NASC) for their invaluable support.

Following this landmark debut, the young athlete will now shift his training toward European waters as he prepares to represent St. Kitts and Nevis at the 2026 ILCA 4 Youth World Championships in Aarhus, Denmark, 1-9 August.

EPPS secures third place The Elizabeth Pemberton Primary School secured the third-place spot in the 2026 Runako Morton/TDC Primary Schools cricket championship.

This feat was accomplished on Friday 10 th July, at the ET Willet Park, when they face off with defending champions, the Ivor Walters Primary School.
