RUNAKO MORTON/TDC PRIMARY SCHOOLS CRICKET TOURNAMENT UPDATE

Two more matches were played in the ongoing Runako Morton/TDC Primary Schools cricket tournament, on Thursday 25 th June. Charlestown Primary defeated Maude Cross Preparatory School Scores in the match: CPS batting first scored 127 for 5 in 15 overs: Zakeem Bailey continued his fantastic run with yet another half century. He scored 73. This adds to his previous scores of 118 not out and 98 not out MCPS in response could only muster 75 all out Zakeem Bailey was again in the spotlight with his 5 wickets for 7 runs. CPS won by 52 runs. In the other game, The Joycelyn Liburd Primary School defeated the St. Thomas’ Primary School. JLPS 132 for 3: Jahmarli Kelly 52, Tydre Clarke 42 Tyquon Connor 2 for 21 When the STPS team batted, they got to 63 for 8 Ezekiel Dickenson 19 Lawrence, Kelly and Christmas 2 wickets each. JLPS won by 69 runs
