CHARLESTOWN PRIMARY WINS 2026 NEVIS CRICKET CHAMPIONSHIP

The grand finals in the 2026 Runako Morton/TDC Primary Schools Cricket tournament, was played at the ET Willet Park on Friday 10 th July. The JLPS team won the toss and elected to bat first. Zakeem Bailey in his first over, created real havoc by picking up two wickets, bowling really quickly. The JLPS team eventually got to 83 in their 15 overs. Charlestown Primary faced serious problems with the early loss of Zakeem Bailey for just 14. However, Ishan Bhim starred at the back end of the innings with a stubborn knock of 10 not out, to bring his team past the required target. Auntie Shelly and the entire Charlestown crew, celebrated another championship for the Charlestown Primary School.
