MULTIPLE CHARGES LAID AGAINST KETWAN HAMILTON

Ketwan Hamilton of Lime Kiln Project, St. Kitts, has been formally charged in connection

with the homicide that occurred at the Royal Kingdom Snackette in Lime Kiln on April20th, 2026. Mr Hamilton has been charged with the following offences:

 Murder committed against Shamarie Baptiste

 Possession of a Firearm

 Possession of Ammunition

 Discharging a Loaded Firearm in a Public Place

 Possession of a Firearm to Endanger Life

He was formally charged at the Basseterre Police Station on April 29th, 2026. The RSCNPF also wishes to advise that four suspects have been arrested and are in

police custody in connection with two other homicide investigations. Several key

investigative and tactical measures have been implemented with a view to ensuring the

safety of all citizens and successfully pursuing justice for those who need it. Investigations into all matters are ongoing, and updates will be appropriately issued as

they develop. The RSCNPF is appealing to anyone with information that may assist in any of these

investigations to contact the nearest police station or report anonymously via Crime
