MARK VITALIS SECURES HAT-TRICK IN LEEWARDS MASTERS CRICKET
During the recently held Leewards Masters Cricket tournament held in Nevis, Mark Vitalis, representing St. Croix, took the only hattrick recorded during the tournament. The Antigua and Barbuda team was well placed for a huge total, when Vitalis came into the attack and turned the game on its head. He got rid of the set Kerry Mentore and followed up with the wickets of Stephan Matthew and Dean Williams. They reduced the Antigua and Barbuda team to just 144, but unfortunately their batting in turn, failed and they could only muster 57 all out in response. Antigua and Barbuda won by all of 87 runs.
