LEEWARDS STUMBLE YET AGAIN

The third round of matches in the WICB regional

tournament commenced on Sunday 26 th April.

After two days f play, the Leewards Hurricanes find

themselves in a bit of a mire once again versus the

Trinidad and Tobago Red Force team.

Batting first, the Trinbago team scored a mammoth

522 for 9 declared, with Skipper Joshua Da Silva

scoring 220.

Amir Jangoo scored 83, while Karima Gore bagged

4 for 86.

In their turn at crease, the leeward soon found

themselves on 2 wickets for no runs.

However, by the end of the day, they were 88 for 4,

with Karima gore like the proverbial cheese standing

alone on 60 not out.

Anderson Phillip has 2 wickets for 27 runs.
