IWPS, EPPS AND CPS WIN PRIMARY SCHOOL CRICKET TURN

Action in the Runako Morton/TDC Primary Schools cricket tournament continued on Wednesday 23 rd June, with three matches. The two earlier matches were played at the VOJN grounds, due to wet conditions at the ETW, but the final game was played at the ETW, where Zakeem Bailey narrowly missed scoring his second consecutive century of the tournament. Summary of matches played: MCPS v IWPS MCPS 63 for 3: Lamar Freeman 26, Nile Guishard 16* Jonathan Persaud 2 for 17 IWPS 64 for 2: Devaundre Hendrickson 20*, Jonathan Persaud 13 Isles 1 for 17 IWPS won by 8 wickets EPPS v St. James’ EPPS 133 for 4: Ajani Saddler 37*, Decoy Liburd 22 Parke, Ottley and Davis 1 wicket each St. James’ 30 for 7: Tseshaun Thomas 11 Burton and Saddler 2 wickets each EPPS won by 103 runs CPS v St. Thomas’ CPS 158 for no loss: Zakeem Bailey 98*, Delijah Jones 26* STPS 45 all out: Izariel Saddler 14* Archibald 3, Walters 2 and Bhim 2 CPS won by 113 runs
