ACCESS REMAINS CUT OFF TO DEFIANT FIARS BAY BEACH BARS

The impasse between beach-front grill and restaurant operators at South Friars Bay and the Government has resulted in blocked road access and an uncomfortable trek for would be patrons determined to be at the popular bars. By way of Government communications, the bar owners were given until April 7 to cease and remove all essential items from the locations. At a recent press conference, the Minister of Tourism said assistance is available to the owners to help them relocate and to set up in one of two possible beach locations.
